The New Crime Stoppers Atlanta Website is Live!

The highly anticipated Crime Stoppers Atlanta redesign is now live and running at http://crimestoppersatlanta.org!

Here are just a few of the features that the new website offers:

  • Complete Social Media Integration – allows users to share information from the website, e.g., safety tips and wanted fugitives, with friends through their Facebook, Twitter and Digg feeds. Also allows for easy access to become a fan of Crime Stoppers.
  • Safety Tips – information for citizens to stay safe and protect their homes and valuables. New articles are automatically added to Facebook and Twitter, and an RSS feed helps visitors to keep up with the latest tips.
  • Fugitives and Unsolved Crimes – features a database of wanted criminals and unsolved cases from participating law enforcement agencies. Each agency has the capability to add criminals through the website.
  • Most Wanted Criminals – Crime Stoppers can mark a criminal as “Most Wanted,” and their information will be instantly displayed on the Most Wanted page in both a condensed, carousel format and an expanded view.
  • Submit a Tip – easy to use tool for citizens to submit anonymous tips that can help investigators solve crimes.
  • Sponsors – prominent display of donor partners to show gratitude for their support.
  • Donate Now – highly visible, easy to use tool for contributing to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta reward fund.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution has already featured the site in their article “Crime Stoppers Turns to Facebook,” currently visible on the home page of AJC.com. Also be sure to check them out on Facebook and Twitter!
